Easy seedy crackers

Add some crunch factor to soup with these delicious seedy crackers, or smear with hummus for a yummy snack.

These easy seedy crackers are the perfect accompaniment to soup, and can be spread with a range of delicious toppings.

Seedy cracker ingredients

Make easy seedy crackers from just a handful of healthy ingredients:

  • Seeds: A mix of chia, sesame, pumpkin and sunflower.
  • Seasonings: Sea salt, cracked black pepper and Italian herbs seasoning. I use Italian herbs seasoning from Steenbergs.
  • Filtered water: If you don’t have a water filter, just use tap water. You could also use bone broth.

How to make seedy crackers

Make these crackers in three easy steps:

  1. Get ready: Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F). Lightly grease and line a large baking tray with plastic-free baking parchment.
  2. Mix: Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix until well combined. Set aside for 5 minutes.
  3. Bake: Spoon the mixture onto the prepared tray and spread evenly using the back of a spoon. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to firm up, then bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and cut into rectangles. Turn the crackers over and bake for another 15 minutes, or until crisp.

That’s it – super easy!
